It is with a heavy heart that I type these words. Jubal was a very special dog and cemented my love for the games we play. He was an exceptional marking dog and an unbelievable creeper as well. Those two do not go together very well but Jubal could move around at the line, circle the bucket, creep 20' reheel himself and front foot the marks. He played the game just long enough to aquire the HRCH and MHR titles and retired from hunt tests to stud out and hunt. I was forced to take Jubal for his last ride yesterday, he had a 24 ounce Ribeye Steak for supper Sunday night and 4 quarter pounders for lunch on Monday. Jubal's health has been on a downhill slide for months and when he was unable to get out of the pool without help on Sunday I knew it was time.
Those of you that have been here understand the profound grief, and sense of loss. But God has a place in heaven for the good ones and I know we will be together again someday.
Until Then
Please Take Care of My Friend
Now you can creep to no end
Until we meet again
Please take care my Friend
Brian
