LVHRC Paw Prints June 2010

Thanks to everyone who participated at the May Training Day: Larry and Maureen, Bob and Jeannette, John, Dennis, Bill and Mona, Al and Pam and Sean. The dogs ran singles and doubles on land and in the water and blinds on land and in water. The weather was fantastic. The big pond was ours until the fishermen arrived around 9:00 am. 8:00 a.m. at the Meadows, Lee Canyon.

Directions: Hwy 95 to Hwy 156. Take a left onto Hwy 156 (Lee Canyon Road).  
Drive about 16 miles. Drive by the Old Mill camping/picnic grounds on your right. The Meadows area (large open field) is located about .4 of a mile on your right.

I’ve added pictures, taken at various training events, of most of the dogs to the site. The few that are remaining should be added in the next week. The Final Retrieve

Our condolences to Ray Silk on the loss of his beloved “Jack” (GMHR MHR WR SR Silk’s Gentleman Jack).

It is with a very sad heart that Jack was laid to rest on 5-11-10. It is a difficult time to say goodbye to one you loved so much and gave you so much pleasure and happiness, and asked for so little in return. Jack, you were the reason I got involved in hunt tests(NAHRA), the drive and desire you displayed was a joy to watch. Jack, you were always a Gentleman and with a heart as big as you!! May you rest in peace!!
