Qualifying Events:
- Club Sponsored: Being a short competition year, to transition to the competition being a full calendar year next year, this year LVHRC will host only 4 qualifying events. These could include picnic hunt tests, Super Singles competition, or any other relevant event determined by the board prior to the start of any competition year. Picnic hunt tests will be governed, to the extent possible, by AKC Retriever Hunt Test rules.
- AKC, HRC, NAHRA Sponsored: Any AKC, HRC, or NAHRA-sponsored hunt test during the competition year can potentially accrue competition points. In order to earn competition points, dogs must be entered into their “competition” category. Dates for these events can be found in Entry Express.
- There is active discussion about additional points being accrued from events other than hunt test or LVHRC Sponsored Top Team Events. Some of the event being considered are Obedience, Rally, Pointing Test etc. Please make sure to join us at our September Meeting where this will be further discussed.
Point System:
Points will be awarded throughout the year and reported via LVHRC website. Each participant is responsible for the accuracy of their own points.
